Managed remote teams in Bangladesh: hire a team, not just a headcount
A dedicated team of three or more, recruited to your specification, employed by Nexus Payroll and run by an HR operations partner in Dhaka — for USD 249 per seat per month plus salaries at cost.
What is a managed remote team in Bangladesh?
A managed remote team in Bangladesh is a dedicated group of employees recruited for one client, employed through a local Employer of Record, and administered by that provider's HR operations staff — covering payroll, leave, equipment, engagement and performance paperwork — while the client's own managers direct the team's daily work and own its output.
It is the model foreign companies choose when they want more than isolated hires: a customer-support pod, a finance shared-services unit or a QA team that needs local HR presence, consistent onboarding and someone in Dhaka who notices when a laptop breaks or a team member goes quiet. Compared with an individual EOR hire it adds recruitment, HR operations and team-level reporting; compared with an offshore development center it does not include dedicated office space, which keeps the seat fee lower.
What does the managed remote team service include?
The per-seat fee includes recruitment of each role, Bangladesh-law employment through Nexus, monthly BDT payroll and statutory administration, laptop and internet allowance logistics, a named HR operations partner, onboarding and engagement programmes, performance-cycle and exit handling, and a monthly team report. Salaries, benefits and optional desk space are billed at cost.

Managed remote teams FAQ
Who manages the team day to day?
You do, through your own managers; Nexus runs the employment and operations layer. Your team lead sets priorities, reviews work and runs stand-ups. Our HR operations partner handles attendance, leave, performance-cycle paperwork, equipment, engagement events and anything that needs a person in Dhaka, and joins your monthly review with a headcount and cost report.
Can the team work our hours?
Yes. Dhaka (GMT+6) overlaps every major hub by at least three working hours, and shifted schedules are routine. A 13:00–22:00 Dhaka shift gives full overlap with London; 18:00–03:00 covers US East Coast mornings. Shift and night-work allowances are written into the contracts under the Labour Act's working-hours rules, and we provide transport or a night allowance where the shift ends late.
What if a team member underperforms?
We run the performance-improvement and, if needed, the exit process under the Labour Act on your instruction. Probation (three to six months under s.4) gives the first checkpoint; after confirmation, documented performance management, then termination under s.26 with statutory notice and compensation, which we calculate and settle. Replacement recruitment is free within the first 90 days of any hire.
